Rules for playing War of the Generals.

By using War of the Generals, a service operated by Sienna Logic LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to play. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
In games against other people, don’t use bots, engines, or other outside help to choose your moves; don’t try to reveal hidden ranks by modifying the game, reading its network traffic, or any other means; and don’t collude with opponents, play both sides with extra accounts, or deliberately stall or abandon games. Anything goes when you practise against the computer. The game server’s ruling on every move, challenge, clock, and result is final.
Callsigns, formation names, and anything else you enter must not be offensive or harassing or impersonate someone else. Don’t harass other players, and don’t attack, overload, or scrape the game. To report a player or a problem, email [email protected] or use our contact form. We may rename a callsign, remove content, or suspend the account responsible.
You keep ownership of what you put in War of the Generals, such as your callsign and saved formations, and you are responsible for it. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display it so we can run the game, including showing your callsign to opponents and letting finished games be replayed. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for games you played against other people, which stay as a shared record, and copies that remain in backups.
We may suspend or terminate an account, or void game results, if you break these terms or if we believe the account is being used abusively or in a way that could harm War of the Generals, its players, or others. You can stop playing or delete your account at any time.
War of the Generals is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of War of the Generals at any time, including resetting rankings, statistics, and progress, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sienna Logic LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or game progress, arising from your use of War of the Generals. Our total liability for any claim relating to War of the Generals is limited to $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sienna Logic LLC and its owners from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your content, your use of War of the Generals, or your violation of these terms or anyone’s rights.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the date above. Continuing to use War of the Generals after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to War of the Generals must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may transfer these terms as part of a sale or transfer of our business. The sections on your content, disclaimer and limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law continue to apply after your account ends.
